HKETO hosts sharing session for summer interns from Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Toronto) (HKETO) hosted a sharing session on July 18 for undergraduate summer interns from Hong Kong who are on attachment to HKETO or community organisations in the Greater Toronto Area.

Director of HKETO, Ms Emily Mo, met with the students and briefly introduced to them that HKETO is the official representative of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in Canada, which is set up to promote the bilateral relations between the two places.  She elaborated on HKETO’s efforts in promoting closer exchanges between Hong Kong and Canada in different aspects such as talent attraction, as well as the latest developments of Hong Kong-Canada relations.  She encouraged the students to make the most of their internship in Canada, which would be useful to their future career development.

The summer interns continued to share their experience in Canada and what they had learnt from the internship.  They all agreed that overseas internship had helped broaden their horizons and better equipped them for future employment.

Before the sharing session ended, Ms Mo took the opportunity to thank the host organisations for receiving the students from Hong Kong and pictured with the students in front of the HKETO building.
