Posted in: Press Releases

May 21, 2019

Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Toronto), Ms Emily Mo, attended the Asian Heritage Month Concert organised by the Asian Heritage Month-Canadian Foundation for Asian Culture (Central Ontario) Inc. at Innis Town Hall on May 21.

Speaking at the concert, Ms Mo noted the deep historical and cultural linkages between Hong Kong and Canada.  She was delighted to see artists and musicians with Hong Kong roots taking part in the Asian Heritage Month celebration concert. Like Canada, Hong Kong is a melting pot of multi-cultures, and there are countless cultural exchanges between the two places.

The concert is one of the major celebration events organised by the Asian Heritage Month Festival Committee to acknowledge the contributions that Canadians of Asian origin made to the prosperity of Canada.
